New member joins LBA Board of Directors

Chris Cowling, Finance Director at ADE Power, has become the latest business representative to join the Langthwaite Business Association Board of Directors.

Chris was officially appointed as a Director on 12 January 2026. He brings a strong combination of financial leadership, commercial experience and in‑depth knowledge of the energy and manufacturing sectors to the Board.

Chris is currently Finance Director at ADE Power, based at Unit 14, Langthwaite Business Park, where he is responsible for financial strategy, governance and supporting the continued growth of the business.

He joined ADE Power in 2025, having previously held senior commercial and finance leadership roles within the renewable energy sector, most recently as Commercial Director at Ineco Energy Ltd. His background includes extensive experience working with UK manufacturers and infrastructure‑focused businesses on energy, investment and growth strategies.

Chris holds an MBA from Durham University Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is also an active contributor to wider industry discussions around UK manufacturing, energy resilience and decarbonisation.
